“Promoting and positioning the region for job creation and growth is an important component of the Chamber’s multi-faceted economic development mission,” Squier said. “Our unique central location in the state positions us to engage in multiple regional efforts, from working with our I-99 Corridor partners in Blair and Bedford counties to working with counties that comprise Focus Central Pennsylvania. We welcome efforts to raise the visibility of Centre County and all of central Pennsylvania before site selectors and corporate decision makers.”
Economic development is the lifeblood of every community. It creates jobs, builds neighborhoods, supports businesses and provides a higher quality of life. This work is not accomplished by one, but by many.
