Mifflintown, PA – Juniata Business and Industry, Inc. (JBI), the County and State recognized Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) for Juniata County, Pennsylvania is investing $1,500 in Focus Central Pennsylvania to support regional economic growth by promoting the region to attract quality corporate investment and new career opportunities. A check was presented by JBI’s Board members to Lauren Bryson, Executive Director of Focus Central Pennsylvania.
Dane Walters, Marketing Director for the Juniata Business & Industrial Inc. stated “We are excited to support this great organization specializing in helping economic development in Central PA. We are looking forward to working together for the people of Juniata County to bring jobs to our community. Supporting the regional approach to market Central Pennsylvania is a secure investment for effective promotion of the region and aligns well with JBI’s mission to enhance the economic and social well-being of Juniata County by fostering, developing, and supporting efforts to provide employment, attract business and industry, and generally to promote the improvement of the attractiveness of Juniata County.”
Juniata Business and Industry, Inc. recently completed the acquisition of additional acreage at the Juniata County Industrial Park, a designated Keystone Opportunity Zone (KOZ) free of state and local taxes until 2028. The Industrial Park will have additional lots with water, sewer and roadway infrastructure.
