Northumberland, PA – North Shore Railroad Company & Affiliates, Central PA’s rail freight service provider, is investing $3,750 in Focus Central Pennsylvania as a board level investor. The contribution supports regional economic growth by promoting the Central PA region to attract quality investment projects that cultivates economic growth. A check was presented by Todd Hunter, Chief Marketing Officer and Joe Kantz, Business & Development Manager of the North Shore Railroad Company & Affiliates to Lauren Bryson, Executive Director of Focus Central PA.

North Shore Railroad operates six short line railroads across 250 miles of track in Central PA handling commodities for businesses including aggregates, coal, grain, plastics and more. A part of a logistics strategy, rail service has become a competitive advantage by providing safe, affordable, and flexible options to move and deliver critical products.
