Lewisburg, PA – SEDA-COG Joint Rail Authority (JRA), owner of six short line railroads in Central Pennsylvania, is investing $3,750 in Focus Central Pennsylvania as a board level investor and is also a meal sponsor for the 2022 Industrial Development Forum. The contribution supports regional economic growth by promoting the Central PA region to attract quality investment projects that cultivates economic growth. A check was presented by SEDA-COG JRA Board Chairman, Russ Graham, Jennifer Wakeman, SEDA-COG JRA Assistant Treasurer and Focus Central PA Board Chair and Jeff Stover, Executive Director of SEDA-COG JRA.

The Lewisburg, PA based JRA is an eight-county municipal authority offering the best of public ownership of the trackage and fixed facilities, while freight service to customers is handled by the private sector through an agreement with the North Shore Railroad group. The SEDA-COG Joint Rail Authority’s mission is to preserve and foster rail service in Central Pennsylvania and to further economic development through retention, improvement and expansion of the infrastructure and the rail service it supports.
SEDA-COG JRA will be a meal sponsor for the upcoming IDF 2022, scheduled for March 23rd at Susquehanna University, a networking and informational event focused on investing in Central PA for smart growth. This event brings together planners, investors, builders, community leaders and resource partners for the region’s forward-thinking economic growth event.
